Kurt 2,953 Posted March 1, 2023 Posted March 1, 2023 So, I have a chance to pick up a pair of Klipsch Heresy II speakers. This pair has the horns updated by Bob Crites. Great condition, matching serial numbers, etc. I see lots of discussion out there about Heresy's... but, have never listened to a pair. Anyone in Carver-land have a pair? Any thoughts on whether they would be good to add to my vintage audio collection (My main pair of speakers right now is a refurbished pair of Infinity Kappa 8's). What would you pay for a pair? Thanks everyone.
itchitch 4,529 Posted March 1, 2023 Posted March 1, 2023 I have a pair of Heresy III's They sounded great with the 350's ... Sound good with a 500t mkII I really like them for classical and classic rock. Best used with a SUB. There is a pair of Cherry III's for sale in Denver for $1k right now The quality of the wood veneer improved with each model update. Original Heresy were stained plywood. It's all personal taste. 1
