What outboard phono preamp are you using, if any?

Thanks for all of the helpful advice. I finally decided to go with the Musical Surroundings Nova II with battery feature. It has a many adjustable configurations for cartridge set-up, also. I found one on Canuck Audio Mart well within my target budget price of $500.00. I'll post a review once I receive it and have it connected.

I think you will just love it. I do mine. The only negative I found was when changing carts you need to go to the back side. On the other hand I have yet to find a cart you can't set it for. It's kick ass!
