A fantastic journey; a bit hard to get started on, but (from what I remember reading it as a kid) once the hook gets in you you have to read them all. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foundation_series There's a second Trilogy (written after Asimov's death) that's every bit as good. 1
BillD 239 Posted May 19, 2010 Posted May 19, 2010 From a Sci-Fi standpoint, the Foundation Trilogy and the Dune Trilogy stand out for me. And of course, for the humor, Doug Adams Hitchhikers Guide series.
