There was one I read about a few years ago, where a guy was using his basement as an infinite baffle with I believe 16 subs. He had them in groups of 4 surrounding a tube box that led up to his living room. Each sub had a 200-watt Crown amp dedicated to it. It was a fun read, in stereo review or maybe sound & vision, I can't remember. That's the article I was looking for, but it seems to be lost.

 

Does anyone else remember reading about it? That seems to actually be affordable.
