  1. I know this thread is a little old, but I thought I'd add that I use the Okie Nokki and have had really good results with it. I've also got a Spin Clean, which works well but not quite as well as the Okie Nokki. I'm far from an expert on these things and as was mentioned before, some folks are religious about how they clean their vinyl, but for me, I like that the Okie Nokki removes most of the excess water from the record. My overall process is similar, just quicker with the Okie Nokki since I don't have to wait as long for the records to dry. I use the L'Art duSon record cleaning liquid, which I also highly recommend. I've only used this with my Okie, so I can't vouch for how it works in the Spin Clean but I've read that people recommend rinsing if not used with a vacuum machine. I never rinse and, as far as I can tell, there isn't any residue left on the record when I'm done.
  2. That is a very nice looking setup. Very clean! I like the green lights, too!
  3. I'm a new member from Georgia and just wanted to take a minute to say hello to everyone on the board. I've spent some time lurking before finally deciding to join and hopefully contributing to the discussions here. As for equipment, I'm a little in between components right now. I have a C-11 that was rebuilt by Rolland and a TFM 15CB with some issues with one of the channels. In fact, I will probably be discussing what to do with this amp at some point on this forum. I recently purchased a M1.5t that was also rebuilt by Rolland that I'm hoping will be delivered soon. Until then, I'm using my Pioneer SX 737 receiver to keep things running. My speakers are a set of HPM 100 that have been fully recapped and sound beautiful. My current turntable is the Rega P3 (in white), and I also have a Pioneer tape deck and Marantz CD player, but I can't remember the exact model numbers at the moment. I've also got some lower quality gear that I've loaned out, such as a MCS turntable and a set of HPM 60 speakers. Several years back, a good friend of mine reintroduced me to the joys of quality stereo equipment, vinyl, and most importantly Carver gear, and I have enjoyed it since. I look forward to the discussions and I hope to learn as much as possible along the way.
