I thought I post this for anyone looking for a forte 1 or forte 2 woofer replacement. The woofers on my Forte 2 speakers gave up to age several years back. I purchased the "Bob Crites" woofers for replacements, and upset that I spend $230 on woofers that didnt even come close to the originals :(. I called Klipsch and they sold me a set of Heresy 3 woofers to replace mine with . The K-28-E a fine speaker and miles ahead of Bobs generic speakers!! Something was still missing the soundstage was off still didnt feel right and couldnt handle the power of the originals. I waited a couple years and they came out with the forte 3 .. Just ordered and installed a set of Forte 3 woofers in my Forte 2 !! All I can says is WOW!! All the sound is back and then some. Very happy with these woofers. Dont want someone else to waste time and money on Bobs stuff..
