....why would we give you insanely advanced technology?
You mean women? We already tried that and look where it got us

Owned a turntable years ago, with an Audiotechnica cart that was probaby worth more than the TT itself.
Went to goodwill today and decided to browse the records found BOB JAMES TOUCHDOWN, Ed Calle Nightgames and Chuck Mangione Fun and Games.
I said I will buy them to get into records again someday BUT...
When I went to checkout a fear took over me that maybe I was not ready or maybe that I really can't get into this again. Funny how I felt cold feet.
But I am terrified of owning a turntable again. I am going to get TOUCHDOWN on cassette and leave the vinyl alone for now... IT JUST SCARES ME
Call me stupid but me and TT's dont mix
EDIT: bought the touchdown album maybe maybe somedaay

Im big on CD's...
Bigger on CASSETTE...
Overloaded with MP3's & FLAC
But I tried Vinyl 15 years ago and it did not pan out, Im pondering now again to try again.
My idea would be to raid all my local GW/Salvation Army and see if I can find 10 to 20 records that I deem worthy then make the jump to sourcing a table
If not I will Karma the found discs... And its all Win/Win
But then here comes my negatives
Clean the vinyl, source the discs, again having to cope with the pops again, which leads me running back to my tape deck.
Sadly GW and Salvation Army have stopped putting tapes on the sales floor and its getting harder and harder to get tapes locally

Pne time I even took my wife after going out for dinner on date night..., OK, that was a bad idea....
My wife warns me that everytime we are out to avoid the GW but what works best is leaving her in the car while I go in for a sneek
