Thanks Dano for this post. I just saw this on the Yahoo site. Sad another guitarist - musician is lost this month. Lots of time spent listening to Jefferson Airplane and later Starship back in the 70's.

Sad news to hear about Kantner's passing. Jefferson Airplane was one of my early favorites having first caught them in Denver and then, a couple years later at the Filmore East. I think I wore a couple of their LP's out during my College days. RIP Paul.
