I am at it again, NOW I bought relatively new speakers

The law of attraction does really work, ever since I started at the Post Office I had been setting a little bit aside for something, and evertime I would visit Best Buy I would drool over the new Polk Signature S60 and S55

 

I recieved a phone call from a long time local audio friend and he said I have two polk towers I am going to be selling, would you be interested? What model? He said S55, I told him I would love to but would have to sell my current polk monitor 10's. He told me we could do a straight swap.

 

The S55 are a couple of months old and have the extended warranty on them so... yay.

 

Granted its 10:18 pm and the kid is sleeping so I cannot push my luck, but at a relative volume I am enjoying every bit of them.

 

TEMPTED TO GO TO BEST BUY WITH THE RECIEPT AND RETURN THEM AND GET THE TOP OF THE LINE S60 but that is just me

I wouldn’t fret the exchange - top of the line isn’t always best of the line. Back in the early 90’s I listened extensively to the Polk “LS” line, and I settled on the LS70 over the top of the line LS90. I still have those LS70s to this day...?

Thats awesome  Bryan, and I don't know how much your friend drove them, but they may not be fully broken in yet.
