Greetings all, I finally, FINALLY got my hands on a couple Carver items.  Yeah I know, I know Carvers are available everywhere but being FAR from w2ealthy, some of us have to start somewhere.  Might anyone be able to point me in the right direction her to looks for carver pre-amp connectors?

You mean the u-jumpers to plug into the back of the preamp? You can buy jumpers off ebay or Amazon. You can also use a short RCA cable of a foot or so.

I mean the Banna plug speaker Binding post on the back of the TFM-6CB.  One of the Red + plugs broke off, so I'm assuming I have to replace the entire bank of 8 which would probably be the easiest.  I also have the Pre-amp CT-24, for the pre-out RCA connectors, the metal part of those two connectors are missing.  So, all that's there are two plastic nubs that would be pointless to plug into since the metal is what transfers the sound.  I'd post pictures but I can't do that, yet I guess.

A lot of folks replace all 4 binding posts with 5-way professional binding posts - the ones from Carver original OEMs are not the greatest.  It's a project, but a doable DIY project.

If you have to replace/fix one, I'd do all 4, and upgrade them to something like:

You can get these a parts express, or dirt cheap on eBay, or Amazon...

Thank you for that, Yeah, I want to keep this thing pretty factory.  I'd probably use something like these which are plentiful but Carvers, at least for some I've seen, are actually pinned to the circuit board and are a little higher than most.  I want to keep it factory as much as I can and them to fit through the back panel holes.

Welcome!! @Mark97213

You should now be able to post pictures of the broken area and part(s) in question.

I know you say you want to keep it factory..., but understand that this is one of the weak points in the Carver Design..., both the RCA jacks and the Binding Posts were "cheap" at best..., you might need to harvest this part (old and worn) from another unit...,

From time to time, this eBay seller has replacement RCA jacks..., and I've also seen him list a plate for the binding posts ..., he's reverse engineered these parts, and has them manufactured  for the vintage audio community.

1pn | eBay Stores

In looking at his current listings, I only see a variety of RCA replacements.  I would send him a PM on eBay, with your picture above, and see if he has those, and just hasn't listed them on eBay yet.

Otherwise, you need to find a parts machine, or someone with a parts machine, to harvest that part you want, specifically.  Honestly, though, for the effort required, it would make more sense to just replace it with something you build that is mor robust..., but that's just me.

I found this seller in China, that manufactures half of what you are looking for..., perhaps send him a PM on eBay, with a picture, to see if he has what you are looking for too - ...  https://ebay.us/m/U0uJHx

I don't have any original RCA jack assemblies left but I can help you with the binding posts for your TFM-6.

I think these came out of a TFM-25. The tips of the threaded areas are crimped to make the binding posts "captive", which is to say they won't come out.

With a bit of finesse combined with brute force you may be able to drive one into the threaded hole in the original assembly.

PM me your address and I'll drop one (or more of needed) into a bubble mailer and send it to you.

I'll get it out today if you do this before I get a shower and leave to run some errands.
