  1. I bought a carver 900 receiver “untested”, it needs works so I am selling it. I turned the receiver on and nothing happened, I thought it was the power switch cause the button was a bit sideways. Took the cover off and could see although the button was slightly broken the switch was being engaged. I then checked the fuse. It was blown. I replaced it and plugged the power cord in and turned the receiver on. A flame came from two resistors near the front on the power board. I immediately pulled the power cord. I am now selling it to someone more qualified than I. there are no knobs. I can send pictures by email as I see no way to attach them to the ad. I am in Bellingham WA and would like $50 plus shipping to recover my outlay.
