  1. I have a TX-11, and wanted to inquire if anyone has exchanged the red lights for blue ones? My c-1, and M-500t have the pretty blue lights and the tuner's mad red is throwing off the calm mojo. Secondly, my up and down search buttons tend to stick sending the signal up and down with out stopping. FYI - I did spend a few minutes searching these topics, but also just wanted to say hello to the group, good health to all, and Happy Jamming!! Thanks -
  2. Love Sister Disco
  3. For me, I love a good cover where half way through the tune it hits me that I already have heard this before by another artist. In my opinion, nobody did this better than Dylan, and I'm referring to Dylan covering Dylan. The case in point was one live show where he was just about done playing Like a Rolling Stone before I recognized it. He played it without the familiar chorus, or he just forgot it, lol. He covered this and owned it: Everyone who listens to music today, especially if you have kids under 18 know this catchy, annoying little ditty by Taylor Swift. Ryan borrows it and throws a warm blanket over it:
  4. Perma-grin alert. Just found a copy in my collection and played for the first time tonight, HS! I found out this copy is a Bob Ludwig Masterdisk via the markings on the run offs. This vinyl is spectacular and really warms up my system. I've read folks here speak of the Brothers in Arms release in high regard. I'm late, but glad I came to the party. ps - Big thanks again to DennisMiller55 for your handy work with my billd c-1, and m-500t, this album really shows off your talent ; )
  5. Glory days of 80's hard rock, free concert thursday in El Paso
  6. Picked up this disc 2nd hand and was blown away. It is a challenging piece with the dynamic shifts, etc. But this particular recording is very lively.Holst, The Planets/Mehta is a treat
  7. picked up a another remastered copy c.2011 or 2012..better than the "Shine on" 9 cd box version.
  8. Checked out Yo Yo Ma perform three of Brahms piano sonatas at Tanglewood last week while vacationing in western Mass. Cool venue, and my two boys showed their appreciation by falling asleep on the banket.
