SteveFord 1,131 Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 When I turn the sub on, it introduces a lot of static into the FM. The sub is in a corner and the coax cable runs pretty close to it. Could that be the culprit? Different interconnects didn't make a difference. Sub doesn't affect anything else, by the way.
BillD 239 Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 Steve, if you disconnect the interconnects, does it still do it? It could be RF out of the sub amplifier.
jvandyke_texas 436 Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 It's possible your sub has a switching power supply. You could be getting RF through the power line.
