Bought these from a church in excellent condition for $200. They gave me 90 days to return. eusa_snooty.gif
Should get enough bass for my Suburban now! They have the Titanium Compression tweeter and 15 inch Bass units.
I bought them for outdoor use, mostly at work for events. They are  101 db efficient so a TFM 45 should be able to be heard on the other coast. eusa_dance.gif
What I really need a Carver pro amp. Trying to keep my budget very low though. I have a PT 1800 with a hum. Apparently they are a bitch to re-cap so that unit gathers dust. It's far beyond me and I don't want to spend hundreds to do it. It's overkill anyway. A light Carver amp would be great. I found a cool Bogen preamp for $50 that has all kinds of good features but its mono. None of my cables work with pro stuff so I cant listen to them yet. I expect the tweeter to have some bite (could be wrong) so I want to tame that. Tubes? Tube buffer? Is that possible? Anyway, hopefully Dom will chime in here, or any of you with this kind of experience. I love Reggae in the sun on summer days. Any suggestions for a tight budget?

Nice score Paul. In decent shape I would expect to pay $350-400 for those.

Does your jack plate have 2 pairs of inputs like this? If so one pair are 1/4" TS/phono, the other Speakon twist locks.
I probably have some spare banana to 1/4" adapter cords laying around that I can send you.

Yes Dom, those are the connections on the back. Thanks for the generous offer. I will probably try to buy some connectors today.
Dear Rod, I want to be somewhere between Charlie and Basspig. emsmilep.gif. I have a little fantasy about a mobile system playing out the back of the Suburban at the park, lake or beach. Instant party right? Reggae might bring the Swedish Bikini Team.

I dug out the banana to 1/4" and speakon to 1/4" adapters and a few speaker cables in case you change your mind. eusa_whistle.gif

Paul, I have a Gemini GXA-1600, if you want a budget amp to get you by. It, too, has Speakon connectors. Figure $140.00, shipped. Manual is easy to find online.

Clearly working on building the mobile "party barn."  Are we all invited if the Swedish Bikini Team shows up?

Nice score.  From a church, it has to be in pretty decent shape.

(Minimal abuse - assuming no exorcisms !  )Yikes
