Greetings from the South Island of New Zealand. recently purchased a TFM-35 and started the journey of discovering all things Carver. Realised the TFM 35 was too good for the original project so have bought a M200T. Its supposed to be not operational but for $100 thought I'd roll the dice & see if the local electronics guru's can get it up & running. I'm sure this site & you folk are going to be a great source of knowledge. thanks .

Welcome! If you haven't already located them, the service and owner's manuals for your amps are located up in the 'Manuals and Specsheets' pulldown at the top of any page. The Carver amps of this vintage are very serviceable.

@Demo Greeting and Welcome to the Carver Site!!

Taking a PURE GUESS on the repair place based on where the auction item is located that Nick is interested in.

The auction item is in Ohauiti, Tauranga, Bay Of Plenty. After a quick squiz I came up wth two places.

One place is north of that location in Auckland but doesn't mention Carver in their service list.

https://lynxtech.co.nz

The second place is south of Ohauiti in Taupo. Now this place does mention Carver as one of the brands that he can service.

https://www.wotelectronics.co.nz

I would rely on the feedback from Nick @earthNZ since he was contacting the place as he said "There seems to be one reputable carver technician here in NZ."

Most of all Welcome to the World of Carver Gear Collecting!!

Hi Bob

thanks for taking the time to do my homework for me.

The M200 is actually in Auckland,I haven't had it sent to me yet so I may need to divert to one of the North Island Techs.

New Zealand is only a small country but the disconnection between North & South makes for expensive courier fees.

We have some very capable electronics people in the greater Christchurch area but unsure of anyone with specific knowledge.

The manuals on this site offer me confidence we should be able to get to the bottom of any issues.

kind regards
