I had the opportunity, years ago, to buy some great equipment overseas. Unfortunately, for the last few decades that equipment has just sat on shelves as newer technology replaced it. Two years ago my Dad passed and unfortunately all of his Vietnam era equipment went to auction. Many memories went with it. Moving forward I realized the old saying, “Use it or lose it”. So that’s why I’m here. Maybe this community can help me bring my equipment back to life.

Welcome, @Chainsaw.  ( love that handle ).   Glad you found us.

This is a great website with great people to begin your journey back..., ask questions about your gear or gear you want..., the knowledge here is extensive, and many members have, or have had, nearly every piece of Carver audio gear...,

Again, welcome to the site, and when you can, post some pictures of your gear as it is, and as it evolves.

Hello Chainsaw and welcome to thecarversite.com . Glad you found us.

There's lots of knowledge here to help you get your gear going, but don't look at me for any of it. I'm just the village idiot. :D

Welcome! The good news is that most quality vintage gear is serviceable and can be restored to as-good-as-new (or better) condition. Let us know what you have or are looking for and we'll try and help you out.
