So it looks like you send L & R signal to the same cabinet......before I looked I thought maybe mono.

 

$445 for a single and its made in the US....I thought it would be more when I first saw the ad.

 

Wonder if it works?

I am a big fan of POLK speakers.

I believe they and Def Teck are the best bang for buck one can buy.

 

Any thoughts on that?

I agree that Polk represents a great value, and they provide great all-around sound. I have a set of LS 70s in my family room that have been used every day for 20 years.

 

That being said, my Klipsch RF 7s in the theater room provide a more "honest" sound - with great source material (SACD, DVD audio) they sound MAGICAL. however, the Polks make mediocre recordings sound better than the Klipsch.

Polk definitely gives you a lot of speaker for the money, I have two pairs and to this day they still make great affordable speakers for music lovers. I have owned a bunch of different Polk speakers over the years.

 

I read about this guy and hope he makes it, sure be something to look back on and remember when he was designing his first speaker and homeless, lol.
