Guest Middlebush Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Does anyone of a good way to clean vinyl records? I see hundreds of cleaners on Amazon and E bay. On You Tube they were using wood glue, letting it dry, then peeling it off. A little much I thought. Something that works well without spending hundreds of dollars is what I'm looking for. Thanks
kve777 6,888 Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 THIS looks interesting, cheap and easy.
dokblues 101 Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 All dependent on how much you are willing to spend. You can get manual ones from $50-$175. Then you get into the automatic ones, new from 500-2500 and more. Used from 300 and up.
HappyTrails 498 Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 I just picked up one of these. My family increased my collection by several hundred and I wanted to clean all of them. Its not quick but it really does a nice job. The microfibers they supply are a bit weak but I picked up some additional ones from the local hardware store. I had some really dirty LP's and this really did the trick! http://www.amazon.com/SPIN-CLEAN-STARTER-RECORD-WASHER-SYSTEM/dp/B002UKSZUU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1379243485&sr=8-1&keywords=spin+clean
bkanaley 0 Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 I have a Spin Clean machine also and it does work nicely. I have cleaned about 60 records so far. All manual but at that price it is a good deal.
