Super - always go back to good things.  Welcome.

I remember "unpacking" my carver after one of those life shifts - it was like Christmas, all over again.

Love to see pics.

Welcome back. I am probably new to you. But the people here have been great. Met a great person here who is local to me who MKII'd two of Carver M-1.0ts and a M-500t for me. Loving every minute I listen to them. Because of the people here, they made me a Carver addict. Just ask my wife. I now own a couple of tape decks, CD players, a C-1 and a stereo receiver, all by Carver. The journey continues......

Thank you all for welcoming me back to the fold!

I am so happy & pleased to see old friends ... and so many new faces (yes, the OCCD family has grown).

Good news: Over the weekend I've unpacked a few boxes and managed to get a "workable" system up and running with a CT-3 preamp and an Aragon 4004II power amp. Lots of gear still to unpack and re-discover.

Bad news: One of my TFM-15cb's seems to have suffered damage. One of the VU meter clear plastic shell has cracked and the left channel is dead - but at least the meter movement is OK. Seems like a good opportunity to put in new capacitors and LEDs and of course find the fault in the left channel. Will post progress in the appropriate forum.

So good to be back!

Welcome back!I am new here as well. That "someone named kve777 " is a good man that has helped me as well.Sometimes people tease him about hoarding this stuff but he does a service in my opinion.Last week my preamp failed.I couldn't find a C1 within 100 miles of me.Tried every pawn shop, used hi fi shop and CL..Kevin hooked me up at a price better than E bay..He lives closer to larger populations than a lot of us.
