  1. Hi, Im new to the forum. I actually got referred here by Grok of all things. I have been looking for a service manual for a CT-26v pre amp and had zero success, so I decided to let Grok search the net for anything and it actually referred me here. I have a Carver m1.5t that has been fried for the past 20 years that I have just now got back up and running. I also have a Carver CT-26v preamp that is working well. I like to have service manuals for what I own. I enjoy looking over them and trying to understand them. Are there any service manuals available for the Ct-26v? Thanks.

  4. Hello Launch1940 and welcome to thecarversite.com. Glad Grok and you found us. We have quite a library of owners and service manuals., and you can find them one of two ways. 1. Up near the top of the site, there is a link called "Manuals and Specsheets". Clicking on that will take you to a table that kinda resembles an Excel spreadsheet. Make sure you're in the Carver section, tab on the bottom, and then scroll down to the Preamplifiers - Tuners section and you will find the CT-26v. There are many others archived there, and they are all free to use. 2. The other way is to just click on this link and it will take you directly to the CT-26v service manual: https://thecarversite.com/manuals/mandir/Carver CT-26v Preamp Service Manual.pdf and this link will take you to the owners manual: https://thecarversite.com/manuals/mandir/Carver CT-26v Preamp Owners Manual.pdf Congrats on getting that M1.5t up and running again!

  6. Wow! Thanks guys. I do not know much about my laptop, as I am learning slowly. So cool to be part of your group and to converse with fellow home theater/audio enthusiast. I am sure to learn lots.. I will send pic's when I receive it and add it to my system. This works perfect as I am kind of "old school" anyway., I love old tech.

  7. Thank you. As I am waiting for it to arrive, I reached out to the seller and requested that it be sent via" FedEx." I spent most of Sunday watching how-to videos on YouTube about different ways to use it. I have a Yamaha RXV-6a and learned that all these multi-channel receivers have only one power source. Which they are telling me my 100 watts per channel x 7 diminishes when in surround mode? I did not know this. It has never been explained before. Given that, this TFM-35 will really help, not only the 2 channels I am going to use it as a pre out for my main channels, but also it will free up the power on the receiver to give more to the remaining 5 channels. This is very nice!
