Thanks! Found myself looking on the 'bay. Always liked the look of their tower models like the Heritage. Almost decided to get some but realized it was just because I was missing my AR-90s. Once they get back from their recap I don't think I'll need an Advent tower.

I think I held the camera against me when I shot it; downward angle. I'll have to try the book trick next for long shots.

Thanks for the tip. 35mm was so much easier. This camera is nuts! The time and date change all the time.

I decided to try speaker refoaming this weekend. I bought a pair of Advent Graduates 20 odd years ago. My first "real" stereo system. The last 10 yrs or so they've been sitting in my grandfather's barn. I used to work on my cars there and needed my music. So last weekend I decided to go see if they were still there. Yup but woofer surrounds completely rotted out. Decided to get some surrounds from an ebay company. Easy enough. Took me awhile to clean off the old junk and then apply the new. Waited a day to let em dry and then hooked em up to my Carver gear. Voila! They work! Being easy on the volume knob. Keep the blue lights from jumping. Still surprised with the bass they put out; just a small 2 way design.

90s are off for a recap. Using Solen caps throughout. New binding posts as well. Should be back in a couple weeks.

Should try to take photos from the other side; too much light now. Took the grills off to oil down the wood.

Thanks. Don't think they've been recapped. He mentioned leaving them alone when I bought them. Already thought of getting them done just need a shop that will do it. I have no skills myself. I keep the amp out of the yellow; popped the fuses on my Maggies once so that's not going to happen again. Paranoid. My 901s get the abuse; just take whatever power I throw at them. Those I know I can replace.

Decided to get them. Listening to Kashmir at the moment. Using the Spec gear so its showing 50 watts. Need to wait till I fuse em to really crank em. I can run em with my Carver gear when I get my C-1 back from Dennis.
