  1. Dire Straits-Brothers In Arms and Led Zeppelin-Presence. Alot of the time I find that I like my vinyl versions better than the CD. Just tough at times to find a clean vinyl version.
  2. For me it would have to be my AR-90s. Everything sounds really good with the Dynaco amps. My Infinities are very nice but somewhat revealing with some recordings. I love Fleetwood Mac but I cringe when listening to them.
  3. I'd use the 1.0t. They'll sound great!
  4. If they're scarce find em and ship em. Or take a road trip.
  5. Aerosmith's Last Child or Zep's Trampled Under Foot.
  6. Thanks Gene.
  7. Good luck with those Kappas. I'm having fun myself changing positions on my Infinities. Just moving them forward one inch changed the sound. Definately no toe in. Moved em around till I found a good soundstage then tweaked from there.
  8. In no order of course....the stuff I find myself listening to Miles Davis; Kind of Blue Jimi Hendrix: Band of Gypsies The Police: Synchronicity Aerosmith; Rocks Roger Waters; Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking Pink Floyd; Meddle The Who; Tommy David Bowie; Lets Dance also Ziggy Stardust but can't find the damn thing anywhere! Enigma; MCMXC aD The Beatles; Hey Jude Only have it on vinyl so infrequently played buts its a favorite.
  9. Quiet Steve. They'll snap up the VTLs I'm looking for.
  10. I'd make the Wall 1st and The Who Tommy #2. Zep #3. The rest can sort themselves out.
  11. I think I've seen those on the 'bay a couple times. Been able to resist them since I really want Kappa 8s. I have enough amp for them just wouldn't want to run 9s.
  12. Welcome! Nice gear you have there.
  13. They look real nice. Remind me of NHTs. Give em a listen.

Looks like my VPI just costs twice as much.

My first test was an Allman Bros record early 70's. Definately sounded better after cleaned. Think I'll go give that record a whirl.

VPI. Well worth it. I got alot of my vinyl from relatives who smoked. Amazing the amount of crud that came off.
  18. Aerosmith: Greatest Hits, somewhere in the mid 80s
