First I was a diehard Phase Linear enthusiast starting in the 70s.

Ive had them all...Pioneer, Kenwood, Nikko, HarmanKardon, Sherwood, Soundcraftsmen, Crown, BGW, Yamaha, SAE, Hafler, EV, Dynaco

Then I was a diehard Carver enthusiast.

Then I was a diehard McIntosh enthusiast.  McIntosh build, looks and  sound is great but always made me feel nervous...the glass, glass defects, much too heavy, expensive, always having to be conscious and careful.  Its all gone now.  Sometimes I miss it.

Now I am back to being a diehard Carver enthusiast.

Carvers are much lighter and more fun to use and listen.
