  1. Yeah, doesn't happen very often. I went to an audio show a few years ago and on the ground floor of the show they were selling small stuff - cartridges, headphones, cables, etc. a guy had two boxes of unopened records. I went through them and even though they were expensive, I had to pick up a couple and I sure am glad that I did.
  2. Love the "Jazz Cat" album art themes. Pretty amusing.
  3. Saw them maybe 10 years ago in Cerritos. Sensational players. Russ Freeman is mesmerizing.

  5. Pretty rare to find any Rippingtons on vinyl.
  6. Rippingtons are so upbeat and I can listen to them anytime.
  7. That is a great album. Curves Ahead and Black Diamond are my favorites. The Curves Ahead currently is in my car. I have a bit of a thing for The Rippingtons but only have 3 or 4 of their work on vinyl.
  8. Thats great. Good time to pick up what you might be interested in at that price. I go thru stages where I am obsessed with a group - just finished a deep dive into The Doors. Strange Days doesn't have a bad song. Got a RhinoVinyl re-release. The performance is so good that it is easy to overlook the record being just a little flat. But I don't think any of The Doors work was recorded well. But day in and day out, I'm a jazzhead.
  9. I have a TFM35 as well. I would like to have the CT6 - pretty sleek. Hope that you get the TFM35 sorted. Mine sounds great.

  13. Equally good strategy!!!! Used to listen to Toto a little in college and not much since. After the first video and learning who the players were, I have become interested in re-visiting them myself.
