Looking at the schematic, I would say it is likely your crossovers are either different than the schematic circuit depicted or the trace / circuit path going to the 22.5 Ω resistor is open.
Thanks Brian.

My research indicates that the crossover didn't change post-release, but I'll check it against the schematic later today.
I'll also try to map out the T3 circuit on the board, ring it out, and test the 2 caps.

Back from the dead !!!

Just wondering - what did you figure out with this ? I just received new tweeters for my 1.2TL refurbish project and am going to look inside them this weekend...

The caps had drifted appreciably from spec, but I'm pretty sure the high resistance reading was due to a cold solder joint.
At any rate it "went away" after I reflowed all the solder joints.

Zack has been very busy this summer working full time as a tech intern at the Hopewell cogeneration facilty.
But he promised to make time to help me rebuild the crossovers before he goes back to MIT at the end of August.

Zack mentioned the crossover upgrade yesterday so I laid out all the parts and confirmed them against the BoM.
I'm ready whenever he is....emclock.gif

Exemplary work as usual, Dom! eusa_clap.gif Thank you for taking the time to document all your work as well.

I recognize the "claw mark" damage on those surrounds, they match the ones in the Silvers I got from dcl. I'm just greatful that the ribbons were too deep to reach!

And good to hear about the generosity of the Polk Audio forum.

Zack will be home this coming Tuesday night through Saturday morning for a short spring break.
Said he intends to work on the 1.2tl crossovers so I started prepping one of the new Gimpod PCBs.
None of his buddies will be home to distract him so hopefully we'll be able to make some progress.
