I’ve wanted to do this for a while now - post a song that you’ve heard before, but for whatever reason, a recent listening has really impressed you. These tracks are worth a second look (listen)…

 

To kick it off, I recently acquired an SACD version of Blood, Sweat and Tears. I’ve always loved this group, as they are about as close as I stray to Jazz, lol. 
 

anyway, the track “You Make Me So Very Happy” is splendid. The various percussion instruments, the brass (!) and the bass are superb. If you haven’t heard this one in a while, give it a whirl - the SACD is pretty reasonable - there’s on on eBay right now for $26 BIN…

I have listened to that SACD..., it definitely kicks it..., BS&T is a good listen, any day.
