Very nice indeed Bob. The Tube sound does take a little time to get used to along with the SH.....only a few minutes. Sounds like you got it dialed in. Now wait a few months and shut the SH off and you wont believe how anyone can listen to stereo without it. emwink.gif

Hi Bob,

Welcome to the site. I am running a pair of Vandy 2 Ce speakers in my rec room system. If you want to make those 2 Ce's really perform you need to vertically Bi- amp them. I am using a pair of TFM-15s that I recapped. A pair of M4.0Ts would make a killer system.

Hello, Bob. Thanks for the pictures sans cats. I've got them–so does my ALSs. Polk SDAs… Your fluffy white companion looks great company for music from a great system. By the way, your are entering here the OCCD Reality Distortion Field. Might as well surrender. Big Grin

So I have 375 wpc running into speakers that are rated for 140 watts & I can accept that excess, but its going to take me a little time to wrap my mind around bi amping to the tune of 750 wpc. But it does have an appeal......

The dog listens with us. We tried some Yamaha components that just weren't a good fit for our circumstance. The bad decision was confirmed when even the dog wouldn't listen. Odd how some components just work in a given place & other equally fine components just don't cut it. Funny hobby this audio.....

Hello all,

Wow, what an awesome site.

Never new this was out there and landed by accident while searching for repairs & mods to my Phase Linear gear.

Have been through a lot of gear since my first purchase of a Phase Linear Series II and 4000 Series II Pre.

Have now pulled out all my old gear and am going back to a full PL gear for my upstairs system.

Extremely excited again and the passion has resurfaced for the love of the old Phase Linear gear.

I hope to be a regular and be productive on the Carver Site.
