Just heard this band for the first time on SomaFM. Did some reading up on them. Not only is this their very first album (that sounds extremely excellent), it's also the very first album that Linn Records put out! You guys have got to listen to this album!

Listening to SomaFM Covers right now... Phil Collin's "Sussudio", done by no other than Ol' Dirty Bastard Absolutely sucks! It's an abomination. I didn't even know what the heck was playing until I heard some broad singing Sus, Sus, Sussudio... Okay, rant off.

Something I tried years ago was a pair of Aura bass shakers mounted under the chair while using headphones. Worked surprisingly well. Blast to your heart's content and not bother a sole. I had to put some electrical tape on the adjustment handles of the chair though to keep them from rattling.

If my other half isn't watching something on the system by the time I get home from work (after 8), then I'm in front of the system until around 1 or 2am. My days off, I get stuff done then the rest of the time, I'm in front of the system again. And that's not including the fact that the system runs 24/7. So in other words, I listen to my system a LOT!

Maybe once you get done building your gaming simulator, you'll get some Carver gear and build yourself a nice audio system as well. -
