  1. Yeah, talking to Don too.. Looks like they will be coming 10 days or so. WS-11 will be fine. Before... staying 3 night got you 1 night free?? I'll stay a 4th night if it's free. Thursday or Monday makes no difference to me.
  2. Ok.... The official Reservations page says: Cabin 11 Not Occupied in 2021. Up for grabs The Sauter Clan is calling dibbs on WS-11 Sep 16 - 19 Early sign in Friday the 16th - Late sign out Monday the 19th UNLESS.... 2 of the Lofts are available those same nights, then we would prefer 2 of the Lofts for 16th - 19th
  3. Download EAC. It's the ONLY WAY TO GO... It has a web database so all your Artist and Track info is automaticly propagated when you rip the CD. http://www.exactaudiocopy.de/ As far as making 4 backup copies of the new files, you need to learn about RAID systems, and setup and small NAS with 1 master HD and 3 backup RAID drives. Drag and drop 1 copy to the Master drive, and the RAID system handles the other 3 backup copies. I little light reading... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RAID#Standard_levels
  4. You guys should have txt'd me or something... CAD files. Full scale for anyone with any cad based programs. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1cyETu314-aUayIDOwSobavWdkRmfNE03
  5. Thanks for the reply man, I really appreciate the fact that you can appreciate the amount of work that really went into these kits..... It was fun, exciting, frustrating and exhausting.
  6. Sorry guys.... haven't been on here for a little while. Don't feel like talking much after Gary.... If you would, please send the chassis back to me, and I'll be glad to send you another. James
  7. Same ol' Maxx... I'll be here. Let me know if you need the address. Me
  8. 48" ribbons are no problem. USPS will take them for around $100-150 ea. But the dimensions of a 60" box are too large and USPS won't ship them. Then you're stuck with UPS or FedEx... and they KNOW IT !! I also edited the other post as to not come off so cocky... It wasn't meant to be. For those that know me personally.. know I'm anything but.
  9. Naaaaa.. Just letting the guy know there is more to Carver than what is here. As for Maxx... He's cute. I kind of miss the little guy. And yes Steve, it's very possible, as long as the guy is willing to pay through the nose via UPS or FedEx. They both think quite highly of their overseas service, and seem to want to be over-paid for it !!! Like I said, he's better off finding a freight forwarder at his end to get them imported.
  10. I keep telling you guys.... You need to get out more often. There's 15 years of history over there. Anyway... this is the rack of unbuilt ribbon parts. This doesn't include the 100 or so built ribbons I have. We purchased all of the ribbon and crossover inventory as they were cleaning out the building. Another week, and all of it would have been in the dumpster. 60's to the left... and 48's to the right. Caps... Coils... Pots... I have it all.
  11. I have NOS OEM ribbons... the problem is shipping... each come in a 10" x 10" x 68" box. Each box weighs about 35 pounds. The shipping cost is usually almost as much as the new ribbon price. See if you can arrange a good freight forwarder at a reasonable price at your end. Everything at my end seems really high. The new ribbons are $750 ea. plus freight. http://www.carveraudio.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=1236
  12. I did a video review/how-to on YouTube last year for the older version. I will try to do a new review on the new version. The old version was a WebApp, as where the new version is a localApp for the iPhone/iPod, and it's WAY faster. The new version is what you would expect from the iPod. Again, this guy gets ***** (5 start)
  13. I posted this on the other forum, and thought it might be a good idea to post it here too for those not going back and forth. I just thought I'd post this up here, knowing there are a few people using Squeezeboxes, and or other SlimDevices. I install this app on my iPhone, and it is AMAZING !!!! I strongly urge anyone using a Squeezebox or Transporter, get yourself an iPod Touch, just for this reason. The program costs $10 in the AppStore, and is well worth every penny. You can buy iPod touches pretty cheap on CraigsList now, so look into a 4-8GB used Touch if you don't want the iPhone. Your iPhone/iPod become an interactive touch screen for your SlimDecives, and all wireless through your network. KICK ASS !!!!! =d> =d> =d> http://penguinlovesmusic.de/
  14. Is this them ?? http://linkwitzlab.com/index.html
  15. That's not so bad.... I just got my 2 12" JL's in and they weight in at 45 pounds EACH These suckers come mounted to 3/4" mdf in the boxes.
  16. On, cuz mine look so damn good with them on. They're like a sexy brunette, with her little black dress on !!! =d>
