A few years ago I started building  my vintage audio system.  I started trying to actually rebuild a system I had in college in the '80's, but then moved quickly into building a system with stuff I "desired" to have in the '80's....hence the Carver gear.  And, most recently, I have started collecting pieces just because I find it neat to have them... My main system is a Carver C1 preamp, 2 Carver m1.5t MkII amps, Infinity 8 Kappa speakers, a Carver CD player, a Carver tape deck and a Technics SL-D2.  I also have a secondary "tubey" system with a C-4000 preamp, Carver RAM285 amp, and Infinity RSIIIb speakers.  Lastly, I'm building an AV system with my "leftover" Carver bits.... I have 2 more m1.5T mkII amps, an m1.0t mkII op2, and an m0.5t powering this setup.

I'm interested in gathering more cool vintage Carver gear and potentially starting to do my own refurbishment, etc. I do speaker refurbishment already, mostly the cabinetry and aesthetics.
