A few years ago I started building  my vintage audio  system.  I started trying to actually rebuild a system I had in college in the '80's, but then moved quickly into building a system with stuff I "desired" to have in the '80's....hence the Carver gear.  And, most recently, I have started collecting pieces just because I find it neat to have them... My main system is a Carver C1 preamp, 2 Carver m1.5t amps, Infinity 8 Kappa speakers, a Carver DTL-200 CD player, a TX2 Tuner.  And, I have picked up some other pieces for fun... A late '80's vintage Sony 5 disc CD player, a '84 Onkyo Cassette deck, a BSR EQ-3000 equalizer, an '80s vintage Kenwood tuner, and most recently a Carver 900 receiver, and an M0.5t amp.

I'm interested in gathering more cool vintage Carver gear and potentially starting to do my own refurbishment, etc.
