On these KSP-400's I just got they have 3 sets of inputs.  The problem is the guy i got them from has lost a couple sets of the interconnect plates  I cant find them readily, should i look harder or is there a better option for connecting them?  Obviously one of these days ill be bi amping them but until then whats a guy do?

If you cut jumpers out of a soda can, and keep them at least one inch wide, they'll have the equivalent resistance of 14ga copper wire. Which I would hope would be ample ampacity! eusa_shifty.gif

Cut a 1" wide rectangle out about 1" longer than the distance between your post centerlines. Cut 1/4" wide slots 1/2" deep on the post centerlines. Trim for fit and appearance. Lightly sand *both* sides of the strip at the points where the posts will be clamping down.

Pardon my ignorance but would the gold plated plates be better or worse then that. I love how cheap your idea is though!! Does it work the same with a beer can lol

I don't know these speakers, or the type of binding posts it has.

However, when I've encountered this challenge, with standard banana-plug binding posts, I made up a couple of 4 inch long 12 AWG speaker wire terminated with banana plugs to jumper post 1 to 2 to 3.  (Soldered up, in 2-post or 3-post configurations.)  The main wire then, I strip, and put in the post hole, tightened down under the nut.

Here is a set of jumpers we make that would be better than the original gold plated brass jumpers or the aluminum beer can mod.  They can be made any length you need, and with any combination of spades and/or bananas.

Out of cheap and easy, wired and sturdy, and quality......
This wins, sorry Phil. emsmilep.gif
If it was long term, Doug has the right solution, of course.

I'm sure this is a "newb" question but do you have a online store or how do I go about ordering a couple sets?

No question is too "newb" ..., Here's the link:  HERE.  Or you can click on the logo under Helicopter Doug's signature line in his posts.  Lots of cool items.

I'm a cheap bastard and would just use a cut piece of aluminum roof flashing. They come in 6"x9" sheets for very little and are heavier than cutting a soda or beer can. They also won't have any paint on the outside or liner on the inside surface. Then again if I wanted to do it right, Doug has the better solution.

Why not buy a small piece of 5 mil copper sheet at a craft store and cut straps out of it?

That's a good one too.  I have some left over copper roof flashing from my new roof 3 years ago.  It would be a perfect solution.

I've used that perforated copper strapping for suspending copper pipe in plumbing. Easy to notch out with wire cutters.

Hello, If you are close to a hobby shop check out the K& S  brass stock , you can get solid brass stocks in 1/ 16 inch thickness by 1/4,3/8 or 1/2 inch  wide also have copper available too. Might also check out Michael's craft stores.
