Thanks Sk1Bum.  Right now, I am just listening to tunes through a set of lousy, amplified computer speakers that don't even have a separate sub-woofer.  As far as SH goes, I've never really explored it much, plus, I have 4 pairs of Polk SDA-type speakers that don't require a tape measure so much. (Much larger "sweet spot", too)   However...I just might   hafta  fire up some Carver gear prior to sending it off to be re-capped, etc. I guess a small fire is the worst that could happen...
