This 1966 Blue Note release was recorded in late 1964 at legendary sound engineer Rudy Van Gelder's studio in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey. It features Wayne Shorter (sax), Freddie Hubbard (trumpet), Herbie Hancock (piano), Elvin Jones (drums), and Ron Carter (accoustic bass).
