In celebration of their anniversary, B&O is introducing their new speaker, the Beolab 90.  I found this while surfing the Frankfuerter Allgemeine Zeitung website, so the actual article is in German.  I'll see if I can find a translation.  In the meantime, here's at least a picture of the speakers and a link to the article:

Eccentric and elegant. I remember seeing B&O in the local HI-FI shop in the 80s. They were always amazing at putting things in small clean packages. Ahead of their time, looking back.

They always have the coolest designs. Have been a fan for years but I've never owned any of their products. I have to say those speakers make me drool.

I have to wonder how many they sell with the price tag they have..Probably be amazed.

I haven't see the insides of any of their current stuff, but the stuff I saw back in the 89's & 90's was all glitz and chrome on the outside and completely underwhelming on the inside.  Way over priced, made Bose look good by comparison and they stuff their little boxes with total junk.

Ever been to a B & O store? There was one nearby (one move ago) in a big mall. Eccentric is an apt description, in a curiously fascinating way. Like walking into an exhibit of gizmos from old sci-fi movies. Never did hear any music though, dialogues of staff & prospective buyers took precedence in the open design floor plan. Maybe loner_t can say more, l_t? Take along some ECM label music . And visit the Tesla store, too.

I was in a B&O store this year and was very disappointed in the sound quality. I didn't see or hear the new speakers but everything else was over priced and sounded poor. I love their design and would love to hear their new high end speakers
