PhilDent 1,962 Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 Reportedly an apparent suicide. Tragic to see that kind of talent pass.
Community Admin AndrewJohn 10,437 Posted May 19, 2017 Community Admin Posted May 19, 2017 Sad and tragic. Great music gone, and a true loss of creativity that we can't afford to lose in a world of so much mediocrity. RIP, Chris Cornell.
Belvedere2 232 Posted May 19, 2017 Posted May 19, 2017 Sad. I spent the early 90s listening to Soundgarden and Alice in Chains. Recently started listening to Soundgarden again. Amazing vocalist. My other favorite is STP. Lucky for me my neighbors like to hear it too.
Nahash5150 10,681 Posted May 20, 2017 Posted May 20, 2017 RIP Chris. You stare into the darkness, its stares back. The world is a dangerous place.
PhilDent 1,962 Posted May 23, 2017 Posted May 23, 2017 Latest update I read is that his bodyguard gave him 2 doses of Ativan, which was too much and as a recovering drug addict, should have never been prescribed in the first place. It is surmised that this led to suicidal thoughts, and unfortunately in this case, action.
