MLB111 191 Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 Honest to God if he is not the poster boy for: "If I had known I was going to live this long, I would have taken better care of myself." One hell of a musician. 3

BarryG 2,859 Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 (edited) Happy Birthday Keith! As many of you know, I am a Nils Lofgren fan, One of my favorite reference pieces is a song written as an ode to Keith Richards, “Keith Don’t Go.” I played a vinyl version of it at cabin 5 at Carverfest this year! Keith, I hope you have many more years rocking for us! barry Edited December 19, 2018 by BarryG 1
Zenith4me 1,582 Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 I saw the Rolling Stones on July 4, 1975 at the Memphis Memorial Coliseum. I was in the Navy at the time and going to school in Millington, TN. Five of my Navy buddies decided we couldn't miss the Rolling Stones. Absolutely fantastic concert! What I do remember was that Keith Richards could barely stand up straight. We were betting that he would not last the entire concert because it was summertime and hot in Memphis. He did make it through the concert though.
