johnrotten 1,100 Posted April 13, 2019 Posted April 13, 2019 The AT-15's that I purchased new, developed a split in the bottom right within the first year. They were replaced under warranty and have been good ever since.
Carverpro 673 Posted April 13, 2019 Author Posted April 13, 2019 (edited) I'm just going to build a new set of enclosures. Keep the same design that i made except maybe go with 2 eight inch mids instead of the 2 -6.5's or even 4 6.5's. ...The girlfriend was shocked that the cops didnt show up here last night. She took the dogs for a walk...and said the music was loud 2 blocks down the road.☺️ Edited April 13, 2019 by Carverpro 1
Carverpro 673 Posted April 13, 2019 Author Posted April 13, 2019 My " man cave " is in my basement in it's own room. There are 5 windows down there that are covered up with plywood and soundproof insulation. Might have to look into soundproofing more closely if I'm going to keep the volume up. The neighbors must be getting pissed by now. I figure the only thing that is keeping me out of trouble is the fact that I crank the tunes only once/week and normally shut it down by 10:30 at night. Last night was pumping 400+ watts of Metallica...and it reminded me of seeing them live back in 91. Freakin ungodly loud!?
