I was thinking an A7 chord with an open E bass.

"Thinking"??? You pose a bonus question, I do countless hours(OK, minutes)of research and come up with a reasonable answer and all you can say is "I was thinking". Ruined the whole thing. Maybe some time in the Sandbox will do you some good.

I need another beer.

OK.   The correct answer was, for sure, A7 with an open E bass.

Clearly you are on edge due to gear separation anxiety.

Sorry. Have to do some work. I know, thats no excuse. I would much rather guess album artwork instead. I know the rule but proceed without me for a bit. I will be back, it is fun. That last one looks so familiar but cant pull it!!!

Reminds me alot of the abstract album art that was being done there for awhile for the jazz greats Monk, Coltrane, Montgomery, Mingus, etc.

These two guys used to play with the British bluesman John Mayall. Probably their best known song is their take on Billy Joels New York State of Mind. Just a great record.
