Hello to all, a retired old guy here in Canada. I've been a member of the carver site for some time but never posted....too busy. I have a TFM-25, CT-17 and the SD/A450 CD player all purchased new in the early 90's.

Once you get to Novice status, please consider uploading some pics of your gear in the Members Systems area. We all like pics of all kinds of audio gear.

Welcome, @bdc, from a not-quite retired old guy from Canada.  

 

Glad you decided to join in the conversation.  Sorry I can't offer much on the CD Transport issue you have, but do watch for a suitable donor unit.  Often belts will go and people sell them as needing repairs, for a good price, and the transport is still fine.  Good luck on it, and if I see one pop up anywhere I'll let you know.
