Yamacarver 802 Posted August 31 Posted August 31 Hello and welcome to the site. The TFM-35 is a nice amp, the manuals are here so you can see the specs. There may be one listed here, there was a recent thread with several different amps for sale. I would contact nelionaudio.com For a possible lead. Things are a little slow here, holiday weekend and all, so keep checking back. Rob might have one but you'd have to wait for him to come home on vacation lol. But if there's one out there I bet BobTFM35 could find it. 1
James Buchanan 14 Posted August 31 Author Posted August 31 Neat! Thanks guys. I just purchased a TFN-35 last night on Ebay. I was able to make an offer and got a response, buying it for $400 plus tax and shippng. i found it in Hattiesburg Georgia and am so excited. Thanks for putting me in the loop. 3

As I am waiting for it to arrive, I reached out to the seller and requested that it be sent via" FedEx." I spent most of Sunday watching how-to videos on YouTube about different ways to use it. I have a Yamaha RXV-6a and learned that all these multi-channel receivers have only one power source. Which they are telling me my 100 watts per channel x 7 diminishes when in surround mode? I did not know this. It has never been explained before. Given that, this TFM-35 will really help, not only the 2 channels I am going to use it as a pre out for my main channels, but also it will free up the power on the receiver to give more to the remaining 5 channels. This is very nice! 3

So cool to be part of your group and to converse with fellow home theater/audio enthusiast. I am sure to learn lots.. I will send pic's when I receive it and add it to my system. This works perfect as I am kind of "old school" anyway., I love old tech. 1
James Buchanan 14 Posted September 2 Author Posted September 2 oh my gosh. You have got a lot going on. I like it! Especially the vintage stuff.
