CT-Seven 764 Posted March 30, 2014 Author Posted March 30, 2014 Wow, those came out great looking. What degree did you end up cutting them at. Will you be using BlueTack on all 4 corners to couple them to the stands? I went for the "polk-spec" three degrees, planning to do that yes Thanks Guys for the comments Yes the soundstage opened up needs a little more Powaaa (insert mk2 m500t here, coming soon)
Blues Pwr 766 Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 Congrats Bryan, they turned out very nice, enjoy..........
Jim Coash 126 Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 I remember my Polks fondly. The tens were my favorite too. I used several different amps with them and they could really rock! I liked the Peerless tweeters but the metal domes sound OK with vinyl. I had a tendency to avoid CDs, especially SOME CDs with any of my brighter speakers. The Yamaha NS-1000/500 speakers with the Beryllium domes were a little unforgiving on harsh high end material. We sold a lot of Polks at Stereo Showcase. A lot of bang for the buck. Jim
