I do have the Klipsch AW-650 (White) on our upper deck. They are significantly better than the Boston Acoustics Voyager 2 that they replaced. I wanted a bit more bass so I added an OSD Forza - 8 passive sub. The Forza is just 'okay'. I selected it because of price and it had speaker wire in AND out. I should have gone with a 10" sub, at least. There is a big difference in sensitivity between the Forza (lower) and the Klipsch. I had an in wall pot so I wired the them so the pot controls the Klipsch - allowing more power to go to the sub. This allowed me to get 'more' bass (from the sub) at volume. I recently replaced my Polk Audio Atrium Sat300 - they were about 13 years old. They really didn't hold up well, fully exposed in the flower beds in the front of our house. I bought a pair of OSD Forza 6.5" Landscape Speakers. They have a few nice (included) options for ground mounting. These are a huge upgrade from the Polks (even when new). OSD is mostly a commercial brand so their speakers have a built in transformer. You can drive them with a stereo amp or a Voltage amp. Each speak has an 8" Sonance CRKW Rock Subwoofer. I had bought these when they were on sale 20 years ago and the still sound great. (They have been painted three different colors over the years)

That amp looks to be from the short period that Emotiva and Carver were partners. I would reach out to to Emotiva tech support to confirm.

I too met Stevie Nicks.... For a number of years during and after college, I drove a stretch Lincoln. It was a small company but we landed the Alpine Valley account. This entailed picking up the performers at the private airfield next to Mitchell Field in Milwaukee and driving them to their performances. Stevie had always projected a mysterious way about herself. I can confirm that it wasn't an act. I was told to not initiate conversation with her by her body guard........ Her body guard sat with me in the front of the stretch. He was an unknown at the time. One of the most interesting rides I had been on. Not too long after this event he became very famous. In keeping with the spirit of this thread, the bouncer coined the phrase: I PITY THE FOOL

My take on offline: You can access any titles that you have downloaded to your device. Does your Tesla have a hard drive or SSD? So - if another family member is 'online' in your home System, you will be able to listen to anything you downloaded while in your car. (Vice Versa)

@Anymouse Welcome to the site! The demographics of the members here suggest you are not alone in your hearing degradation I listen to FM in my home office. There is something nostalgic about it to me. Especially around the holidays. I have owned the TX-11 series and they are fantastic tuners. They were replaced, in my system, by a Phase Linear Model 5100 Series Two. It does a very good job of pulling in the weakest channels in my area. It has an extremely fast response time as well.

I still believe there may be some demand for stock gear here on the site… I recently listed and sold an amp on eBay… forgetting that the spread between what the buyer paid (taxes shipping) and my net proceeds was criminal.
