How have your music tastes changed with better equipment?

I can enjoy all my music from my more than adequate shop system, a boom box on a jobsite, or ear buds at the gym. My taste have expanded over the last few years. But I attribute that to streaming services like Spotify. It has allowed me to try new artist and genres based on their recommendations. I have always spent my fun money on new music but I could never afford all the new music I have experienced through online streaming. -

The straight BillD mod is a refresh with some modification. It is well documented, extensively tested, praised by many, can be done by any handy person with little to no electronic knowledge or by your favorite technician for what I believe is a moderate price. Of course there are many other mods designed by others to suite your fancy. Your choice. So I don't understand your frustration.

I have been using Spotify (free) off my MacBook hooked to my system. I really need to get a DAC. My current EM-U external soundcard does not have the Mac OS drivers. But most of time I am just playing my library via iTunes on the Mac.
