  1. @AndrewJohn, you could do these yourself. While not difficult, it is a time consuming task. Going to be very similar job as I did on my MG 1's. Process would be the same. The buzzing is likely either coil loops lifted, hole/s in the mylar film or a combo of both. To fix any holes in the mylar; you need some mylar tape (Scotch brand), 3M 77 spray adhesive (to hold down the tape and wires) and some Milloxane or 3M Fastbond (to seal the repairs). Definitely doable.
  2. I don't think you have enough equipment in that room. 😁 Nice setup! Looks like a great place to just listen.
  3. Those are beautiful, Jeff! Love seeing projects like this. Thanks for sharing it!

  8. Hola, Fernando! Welcome form Virginia! enjoy your stay! I spent about 7 months in Chaco, Formosa, Corrientes in the early 1990's installing cellular equipment. Beautiful country! Spent a little time in MIsiones at Iquazu Falls. I basically lived in Resistencia.

  13. Agree with @3M_Audio. You can't go wrong with the Micsig line. Reliable all day long. I've read the Hantek HT8050 is also fairly good but is only a 50MHz probe..

  15. As you can imagine, Greg is very busy. And rightfully so, he's damn good at what he does. Give him a day or two and he (or Jenny) will respond. I sent my M1.0t to him quite a long while ago to be restored and get the mkii opt 001 upgrade. I don't regret it at all. That upgrade takes a damn good amp and makes it a beast! You won't regret getting it done. Plus it comes with a very good warranty!
  16. Scan it, save it to a pdf and attach it to a message. One of the Admins will take it and add it to the collection. Thanks for offering it up!

  21. Yep, know that side of the water. Many moons ago, did a large networking project for the 480th. Enjoyed going there every day for about 6 months.
