Good evening, I started a thread (Magnepan MG1 restoration). I was able to upload 1 photo (roughly) 700k. I added a "reply" to continue the discussion so I could add another photo (i have about 16 more or so). When attempting to add the 2nd pic the system says UPLOAD FAILED. However, I was just able to load a 14k file to this message. Is the 1M limit per pic or per topic? All other pics are 700k or less. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

Actually, that is normal corrosion. The mid/bass lines (thicker ones) normally survive this. The tweeter lines however always suffer a catastrophic failure (I have pics to share when I can upload them).

Have more pics to upload but system is telling me upload failed. My pics are under 1M but I'll try to shrink them further and post the rest. Bear with me a bit, I'll get the rest on here shortly. UPDATE - reduced all remaining pics to less than 700k each. Still getting Upload Failed message. Placed a message in the help area. Will have to wait to see what I'm doing wrong to post the rest. May just post a link to online storage somewhere. UPDATE - problem resolved.

First and foremost, what a fantastic site! I'm a longtime Carver fan. I actually joined in 2016 after acquiring a TFM-15 and a CT27v combo, both not working. I'm a former US Navy Electronics Technician (1980-1990) and repairing vintage audio equipment is one of my hobbies (I also repair/restore pinball machines and pressed steel toys (think Tonka, Marx, Wyandotte, etc). Through this site I was able to repair the TFM and CT27 and currently have them in my shop. I also have PM900 that I brought back to life. Back then I was given a set of Magnepan MG1's which were not working. I rebuilt those and they also reside in my shop. I posted in another thread about a couple of days ago about getting a M-1.0t and C-1 combo which I'm sending to Nelion to work their magic on, although I'm tempted to do the BillD mod myself. Anyway, just wanted to circle back and introduce myself. Thanks for a great place to chat about good products from a company that pushed the boundaries. I look forward to the discussion.
