    Welcome from VA! Enjoy your stay! I'll echo @3M_Audio and also suggest re-doing the surrounds first. As he said, finding good replacements may prove to be harder than it seems. He's spot on for replacing the aged components in the crossovers; resistors and chokes rarely age out but caps definitely do. Lastly, definitely consider posting progress pics of your project on here. It's a great way to expand the knowledge base!

    First and foremost, welcome to the site! Glad to have you here! I recently had Greg at Nelion refresh my M1.0t. It is now a mkii opt002 and does sound fantastic! I was so impressed with how well that it turned out, I sent my C-1 to get the BillD mod, Gundry filter and remote upgrade. Others here, that have had those units modified absolutely swear by the difference. I don't think you'd be disappointed with the outcome. Nelion is super easy to work with.

    Mine too. After that went to work in a TV repair shop. Was making $2.10/hour. I remember getting an in-car record player in the shop and thought how screwy is that?
