My daily dose. The RIppingtons, Côte d'Azur (album)

My daily does. The Rippingtons, Modern Art (album)

Today while doing my cardio, I watched Billy Strings on Austin City Limits. What an amazing set of folks on stringed instruments. Mandolin, violin, upright bass, banjo, and guitar. One of their songs is their version of Voodoo Child. If it doesn't knock your socks off, you were already barefoot.

My daily dose. The Rippingtons, 20th Anniversary (album)

Today at the gym while doing my cardio, I watched the Austin City Limits Celebrates Antone's & The Blues. ACL salutes the 50th Anniversary of iconic Austin blues club Antone’s and the series' own history of showcasing blues in a supercharged hour featuring an all-star line-up with Jimmie Vaughan, Kingfish, Bobby Rush, Sue Foley and Big Bill Morganfield. https://www.pbs.org/video/austin-city-limits-celebrates-antones-the-blues-azh17l/ I have my DVR record every episode of ACL, and the vast majority of them get 5 minutes and deleted. Occasionally, they have a gem. The ones that I've watched the last couple of days have been gems.

My daily dose. The Rippingtons, Wild Card (album)

Gregg Karakus, The Nightowl (album)

I watched the entire performance today while doing cardio at the gym. While I'm not a huge country fan, Mr. Stapleton plays a mean blues guitar, and he's certainly got his chops on an acoustic guitar. https://www.pbs.org/video/chris-stapleton-zkruif/

My daily dose. The Rippingtons, Let It Ripp (album)

My daily dose. The Rippingtons, Life In The Tropics (album)

Waylon Jennings, Are You Ready For The Country (album) For Buddy Holly,

The Kris Davis Trio, Lost In Geneva was released on September 25, 2026. "Lost In Geneva (September 25 2026, 4166 Records) promises to be the latest of musical triumphs for Davis because she still attacks each project like she’s got something to prove. She’s in the midst of a new era for her; Lost In Geneva is the second record she’s issuing under her current Trio with bassist Robert Hurst and drummer Johnathan Blake."
