  1. Remi Charmasson Quintet, The Wind Cries Jimi These are some very unusual covers of Jimi Hendrix tunes.
  2. The Flashbulb, Papillon (album) This album is an incredible bass test once you get past the first track. If your system has bass weaknesses, this album will point them out to you. My SVS SB3000 loves this album.
  3. Rico Garcia, The Beginning (album)
  4. Sade, Love Deluxe (album) This is another of those female voices that just stops me cold, and I have to listen.

  9. Hello Darrell and welcome to thecarversite.com. Glad you found us. The Carver professional amps are popular here, and there are many threads about them on site. Glenn offered some sage advice on things to check. Once you get to Novice status, please consider uploading some pics of your setup in the Members Systems area. You might also start a repair or further questions thread in the Pro Series Repair area. We all like pics of all kinds of stereo and home theater gear. Again, welcome aboard.
  10. @Circuits & Concepts, a member here may have them. He has an ebay store too. https://www.ebay.com/str/circuitsandconcepts Mouser and Digikey are both popular sources here, and there are probably others that I'm forgetting. https://www.mouser.com/ https://www.digikey.com/
  11. Hello FThumb and welcome to thecarversite.com. Glad you found us. My first Carver experience was also with the cube. I bought an M400t new in the early '80s, and it soon multiplied into 2, 4, then 5. Followed by a few M1.0t's, a C1, 4000t, M200t, and well, I guess you get the point. I am not one to give electronic advice, but 30 year old crossovers are likely in need of some TLC, and new woofer surrounds sure won't hurt. Again, welcome aboard, and hopefully someone with far greater knowledge than me will chime in.

  18. Alí Bello & The Charanga Syndicate, Alí Bello & The Charanga Syndicate was released on May 9, 2025. "Bello’s journey to charanga was anything but direct. At six, he picked up the violin, and marinated in music from all over the world — from reggae to salsa to rock and metal. After studying at El Sistema (the National System of Youth Orchestras of Venezuela), then relocated to New York City, where he worked with ensembles like Los Jóvenes del Barrio and Orchestra Broadway. In the process, he immersed himself in a range of genres — pop, R&B, jazz, rock, salsa, and, ultimately, his beloved charanga." You can read the rest of the review here...
  19. Tony Saunders, Sexy Somethin (album)
  20. Paul Brown, So Much To Say was released on June 27, 2025. "One of the beauties of So Much To Say is Paul Brown’s seamless ability to fuse a multitude of divergent influences into one cohesive and thrilling experience. This is not a surprise given the fact that he cites Wes Montgomery, Peter Gabriel, Johnny “Guitar” Watson, and Jerry Garcia as primary influences." You can read the rest of the review here...
  21. Peter White, Music For Starlux Airlines (album)
  22. Spyro Gyra, The Deep End (album)

  24. Welcome @malacesteve. Glad you found us. Sorry about your loss, when Mother Nature throws a temper tantrum, she can even put Congress critters to shame. Good luck on your quest, and there are many here that will help you out in that quest. I too have an old motorcycle. I ride a 1999 Stage 2 Street Stalker Fatboy. While it's not fast compared to the new bikes, it was a beast in it's day.
  25. Acoustic Alchemy, The Empire of Lights Part One was released on June 13, 2025. "THE EMPIRE OF LIGHTS, PART ONE is the first in a series of releases leading up to a combined album. The Grammy-nominated, UK ensemble Acoustic Alchemy has packed up their traveling show and performed their jazz-infused, guitar forward, jazz-infused soulful music for loyal fans thousands of miles from their own shores for nearly four decades. Roaming cities, towns and open land; spending time on coasts and in mountains of foreign countries leaving American music enthusiasts obsessed with the band's reflection of the world, near and far. Acoustic Alchemy's blended heritage and wordless musical expression continues to morph into a broader scope of sound that encompasses our land, your land and their land, becoming an empire of their own experience."
