I've got it stuck in my head that I would like to try di-pole speakers and I hear the Quad ESL 57 is one of the best of all time. I've found 2 pair in Alberta that seem like a deal. Not sure if they are worth the effort.

Way to go, jumping in with both feet! The Sunfire Siggy 2 is on my bucket list! (or maybe a pair of them? :D) for when my CDI (Carver Discretionary Income) is high enough. Unless I can find a Lighstar at a decent price which is like Unobtainium!
Welcome Mopardamo! I believe that Sunfires are Load invariant so should have no trouble with Maggies, (someone here will have first hand knowledge). Glad to have you aboard!
I had heard that some manufacturers used in-line light bulbs as protection for speakers. Has anyone heard of that? I thought they would look cool with some Edison bulbs.
I would definitely get the M-1.5t fixed (great amp) My M-1.0t is not Mk2'd yet. It's currently in the shop getting a 10v pop fixed (about six seconds after startup) my local tech found a ic that needed replacement and ordered some parts but I'm still waiting. I can't seem to find anyone local brave enough (or with enough time) to mod any of my gear so I'm saving up to have them shipped to some of the highly talented and honest techs on this site.
Welcome Arnaldo, I also have an M-1.5t and M-1.0t. Love them both and use them to bi-amp. You will love all the resources and great folks that inhabit this corner of the internet and Audio world!
In the constant pursuit of audio knowledge I have stumbled across a few YouTube channels that are quite informative.
Acoustic Fields and PSAudio for example. Do you have any favourites?
