  4. Sorry to hear of your loss elgrau! She certainly sounds like a woman whom enjoyed the finer things in life and probably enriched all those she touched.
  5. I too have used Verbatim`s to burn and have Not had any real problems either in the computer or my Pioneer burner. I ahve also used a few of Staples gold cd-r`s and have not had any problems with them either. However I do record at slower speeds justr to make sure.
  6. Guy`s I have to pretty much concur with Steve`s findings. I have a number of 180 and 200 gram LP`s. These for the most part Do seem to be better and Carefully re-mastered. I have one dud in the bunch...but hey you can`t win them all. Most have been well worth the Extra expense. Some I have even found used in Excellent condition for Way cheaper than they Originally sold for.

  8. Guy`s Seth at Soundstagedirect is a Great guy and Really knows his stuff. He and his staff are Very knowledgeable and I have purchased from them A Lot!!

  10. Well I`m not so sure about drive faster (maybe) But every long trip I drive starts with this: THE DOORS: Roadhouse Blues "Keep your eyes on the Road and your hands upon the wheel"
  11. I agree that some of the Gold Disc`s are not any better due to the recording itself. But some are much better than the CD and usually the MOFI one`s are very good. And they are somewhat collectable.

  13. I have about 2500 albums and somewhere around 550-600 cd`s and Growing. This is an old shot and the collection has Grown some!
